Here's a great tip I discovered today for resizing one image in Photoshop to be the same pixel dimensions as another. Its an example of  how commands and utilities in Photoshop can just sit there hidden in plain sight...

So, to get one image to be exactly the same as another, open both images, select the on you want to change and use Image>Image Size. While this dialogue is open, go to the top menu bar and now choose Window and click on the name of the image whose size you want to replicate. The image size dialogue will now update with the reference image's dimensions, click OK and you're done. Thanks to adobepress.com for this tip - I have no idea how or when I would have discovered that for myself.
