Here's an easy way to let users upload images or other files from a web form. Unless you're going to code this the hard way, I believe the solution is about as simple and elegant as can be...as long as you have a Dropbox account.

Jotform is an online form builder - free with powerful features as long as user submissions stay under 100 per month. It has a feature where you can include file upload fields in your form which connect with your Dropbox account - in effect users upload files direct to your nominated Dropbox folder, and the rest of the feedback comes in both as an email and a separate record within that folder. Just build your form, embed it on your site, and away you go.

We used it to allow prospective artists to submit artwork for inclusion in our Arts Collective website, The Purbeck Collective. And it worked beautifully. Nice one Jotform...
